The UU's Chili Cook-off is back! The fifth annual cook-off will return to A/B Hall on Saturday Nov 15th, 5-7 pm. Admission is $10 for individuals, $20 for households / families. Including "families of choice.” It is FREE to enter a Chili!
Here are the contest guidelines -
SAFETY! SAFETY! SAFETY! Keep hot foods hot and cold food refrigerated.
Practice good hygiene and kitchen cleanliness, wash hands before cooking and after handling raw meat, sanitize cutting boards and wipe surfaces.
Entries for individuals have no entry fee.
Plan to bring about six quarts of Chili.
Provide your own method of keeping it warm, like a crock pot, catering chafing dish / sterno etc.(We will provide a 3’x3′ table space and extension cords.)
It’s okay to bring side dishes or accompaniments to showcase your entry. (Crackers, cornbread, cheese etc.)
“Theming” or decorating your table space is encouraged.
Townie Favorite will be determined by a vote of all paying guests, the other categories will be judged by a panel of judges.
