  • Townie Favorite: - Matthew Hines - “90’s Art School Vegetarian Realness Chili”

The UU's Chili Cook-off is back!  The fifth annual cook-off will return to A/B Hall on Saturday Nov 15th, 5-7 pm.     Admission is $10 for individuals, $20 for households / families. Including "families of choice.”     It is FREE to enter a Chili! 

Here are the contest guidelines -

  • SAFETY! SAFETY! SAFETY! Keep hot foods hot and cold food refrigerated.

  • Practice good hygiene and kitchen cleanliness, wash hands before cooking and after handling raw meat, sanitize cutting boards and wipe surfaces.

  • Entries for individuals have no entry fee.

  • Plan to bring about six quarts of Chili.

  • Provide your own method of keeping it warm, like a crock pot, catering chafing dish / sterno etc.(We will provide a 3’x3′ table space and extension cords.)

  • It’s okay to bring side dishes or accompaniments to showcase your entry.  (Crackers, cornbread, cheese etc.)

  • “Theming” or decorating your table space is encouraged.

  • Townie Favorite will be determined by a vote of all paying guests, the other categories will be judged by a panel of judges.
