Visible Mending

  • Unitarian Universalist Meeting House 236 Commercial Street Provincetown, MA, 02657 United States (map)

Mondays, March 2 and 9, 10am-12 noon. To register email: revkate@uumh.org

Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of visible mending. This workshop is open to all sewing skill levels and no prior experience is needed. We'll learn and practice techniques such as patching, darning, and decorative reinforcement.

Along the way, we'll approach mending as a mindfulness practice, slowing down to care for our belongings, reduce waste, and honor the stories held in our garments.

Participants are encouraged to bring an item in need of repair.Additional fabrics, threads, and supplies will be provided.
